If that the case, the important services and functions you're supposed to provide, won't happen. Successful continuity programs start at the top of the organization. Provide leaders concise and good briefings on the program.   Provide them reference material on the program, and also provide them some background on the historical progress of the program.  Leadership can be very helpful in  announcing and communicating the  importance of the program during routine  staff meetings, during all hands gatherings,  during conferences, and  interviews, and also by participating in exercises and continuity tests.
