New Students
The National Fire Academy (NFA) is proud to offer the fire and emergency services community a new, more convenient way to receive training with NFA Online. Students can complete courses online anywhere and anytime convenient to them. These courses do not replace traditional classroom-based instruction taught at the National Emergency Training Center. Instead, NFA Online allows us to reach out to students who find it difficult to participate in resident courses due to work or family commitments, distance, or physical disabilities.
NFAOnline registration is limited to United States citizens only.
Getting started is easy:
Just click the Register Now link at the bottom of this page. Then on the next screen under the login box click New students click here to register now!
Quick Tips:
- Don’t forget to write down your User ID and Password. Both are case sensitive.
- Click on the Job Aid on the login screen for help.
- You will be immediately prompted to change your temporary password following your initial login.
- The course catalog populates at the top of each hour; therefore depending on when you registered you may have to wait up to one hour until you can access our courses. Once you have access to the catalog, we encourage you to complete the Q136 NFA Online Tutorial as your first course to familiarize yourself with the functionality of the site.
