Search tools for your research topic

Your topic determines the search tools you’ll use. Are you taking an historical view? Writing about current events? Looking at scientific research? Each of these scenarios requires different search strategies.

For your capstone project, you will likely use the National Emergency Training Center (NETC) Library Catalog and Academic Search Complete. You may also want to consult websites using tools like Google Basics to improve your search results.
