Smoke alarms, sound this way
That’s how, the smoke alarms say,
“There could be smoke or a fire around.”
That’s what they mean when they make this sound.


Remember! When you hear this sound,
There could be smoke or a fire around.
Ask a grown-up, they’ll tell you
Just what you’re supposed to do.


Smoke alarms on your ceiling or wall
They don’t make any noises at all…
Unless smoke or fire gets them to shout.
That’s what they do so you’ll find out.
