Training for EMS COVID-19 Vaccine Delivery

As communities boost their COVID-19 vaccination campaigns, they may utilize emergency medical services (EMS) personnel to assist.

The National Association of State EMS Officials (NASEMSO) released survey results from all 50 states, the District of Columbia, Guam and American Samoa on the eligibility of EMS personnel as vaccinators. The survey outlines findings of EMS eligibility based on state guidelines. EMS World outlines planning considerations for EMS agencies in vaccine delivery since their roles may vary depending on the state, county or city.
