The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced a propane recall due to a safety hazard. This propane did not have the proper amount of odorant added during production, making it dangerous as it would be difficult to detect a leak.
This propane is being sold in portable refillable cylinders (i.e., grill bottles) and as bulk tank delivery via distributors. Instructions and procedures for this recall are listed on the CPSC website.
There is also a voluntary recall of injectable Naloxone, the opioid overdose reversal drug, due to the presence of loose particulate matter in the syringe plunger. The full recall notice, including lot numbers, dates and contact information, is posted on the U.S. Food and Drug Administration website.
The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is urging Naloxone carriers to check their product against the national recall list. Please inform anyone in your network who may be carrying Nalaxone immediately.
