Because our primary goal at the National Fire Academy (NFA) is to provide you with training that will help reduce fire-related injuries and fatalities, we continually assess the effectiveness of our programs by asking you to complete a course evaluation survey at the conclusion of your training. End-of-course evaluations are used to identify opportunities for improvement in order to maintain the high standards of our training programs.
We also assess what elements of NFA training you have actually applied to your work that have made a difference in reducing fire-related fatalities and injuries. We enlist your help by inviting you and your supervisor to complete the Long-Term Evaluation online survey no later than four to six months after the conclusion of your course. Your feedback is crucial to help us evaluate course content and improve learning outcomes on an ongoing basis.
We encourage you, your supervisor and your co-workers to share experiences and feedback anytime on how you have applied learning once you return to regular duties.
