The Command Post Pub, a private club under Maryland liquor laws, provides beverage and limited food service each evening. Membership in the National Emergency Training Center (NETC) Recreation Association ($1) is required for service.

Technician available Monday through Friday 5-9 p.m., Saturday 8 a.m – noon

Personal computers for student use run on a Microsoft Windows 7 operating system and offer Office 2010, internet access and printing capability.

Convenience store (O’Leary’s Emporium) + -

O’Leary’s sells a variety of toiletries, as well as souvenirs and authentic apparel. Other services offered include rental cars, fax, UPS, and U.S. Postal Service mailing (sorry, no FedEx).

Meal ticket prices

If you stay on campus, you must purchase a meal ticket. If you stay off campus, you must purchase a break ticket.

Break ticket for off-campus students: $4 per day

Meal ticket: $25 per day
Breakfast: $4.25, Lunch: $6.50, Dinner: $10.25, Breaks: $4.00

How to pay for your meal ticket

Visit www.netcmealtickets.com to order your meal ticket no earlier than 14 days before the course start date. Base your selection on the length of the course, using the travel dates listed in your acceptance letter. If you have questions about your meal ticket, please call Guest Services at 301-447-1551.

You can no longer purchase maeal tickets at registration.

You can pick up your meal ticket in the dining hall at the first meal. Please show either a printed receipt or an email receipt on your mobile phone.

Fax services are available at the campus convenience store, O’Leary’s, for a fee.

The NETC Housing/Transportation Office will receive (only) free-of-charge course-related faxes up to four pages at 301-447-1324. We won’t forward anything over four pages to you.

The NETC library provides information and resources on fire, emergency management and other all-hazards subjects. With its collection of more than 200,000 books, reports, audiovisual materials and indexed articles, the library supports NETC student and faculty research, classroom lectures, and development of course materials.

The NETC Recreation Association offers on-campus students the following recreation activities. Cost of NETC Recreation Association membership is $2 and the membership card is valid for 12 months.
