The National Professional Development Symposium (NPDS) dates are set for June 14-17, 2017 at the National Emergency Training Center (NETC) in Emmitsburg, Maryland. The symposium will feature presentations related to fire training and resources, higher education, and fire prevention and protection within the scope of professional development. Attendance is free.
The NPDS is a collaborative effort, highlighting Training Resources and Data Exchange (TRADE), Fire and Emergency Services Higher Education (FESHE), and Prevention Advocacy Resources and Data Exchange (PARADE) initiatives.
We will publish an agenda in January 2017.
The application period opens on Jan. 2, 2017 and closes on May 1, 2017.
