National Professional Development Summit V

Multigenerational Learning in the Digital Age

Program

This year we will focus on the complexities of supporting human relationships within the digital age of a historically “traditional” fire service.

Throughout our history, responders have met their challenges with dynamic energy and dedication to duty — always with an attitude of “others before self.” We have committed to teaching responders what we know about the science and strategy of emergency reaction. We have a duty to introduce the next generation to the skills that will allow them to grow and respond professionally and honorably to an ever-changing, multicultural community in a manner that supports human interaction in our post-industrial, paramilitary organization.
