Protect What You Value Most!

Learn the facts about home fire sprinklers.

Did you know home fire sprinklers and smoke alarms reduce your risk of dying in a fire by 82%?

Home fire sprinklers are:

Reliable — they only spray when the temperature in the room rises quickly. The sprinkler above the fire is the only one that sprays.

Low cost — a sprinkler costs about $1.35 per square foot in a new home. This cost is about the same as upgraded cabinets or carpet.

Safer for the fire service — the risk to firefighters is much less. Sprinklers reduce the heat, flame and smoke from a fire.

Community Risk Reduction

Wildfire Awareness

Can grass roots, fire service-led, and community-driven wildfire efforts make a difference in the survival of homes, neighborhoods, cities and firefighters? The answer is a resounding yes!

Residents in wildfire-prone regions can make a difference in their wildfire safety by making effective changes to their homes and surrounding landscapes. These activities can be simple and often low-cost changes.

Help your community protect their homes from wildfire.
