The U.S. Fire Administration (USFA) is proud to host the Annual Summit on Fire Prevention and Control on
Tuesday, September 15, 2026. The Summit will convene national fire service
leaders, federal representatives, and fire service personnel from across the country.

FEMA Student Identification (SID) Requirement:
To register, you must have a FEMA SID. Applications for NFA courses without an SID will not be processed.
To obtain a FEMA SID:
- Go to cdp.dhs.gov/femasid
- Select “Register for a FEMA SID.”
- Follow the instructions to create your account.
- You will receive an email with your SID – please save this number in a secure location
Your SID is valid for all future NFA and FEMA training opportunities. If you have forgotten your SID, follow the instructions on the registration page to retrieve it.
