U.S. Fire Administrator
Dr. Lori Moore-Merrell was appointed by President Joseph Biden as the U.S. fire administrator on Oct. 25, 2021. Prior to her appointment, Lori served nearly 3 years as the president and chief executive officer of the International Public Safety Data Institute, which she founded after retiring from a 26-year tenure as a senior executive in the International Association of Fire Fighters.

Tonya Hoover
Deputy U.S. Fire Administrator
Tonya Hoover is the deputy U.S. fire administrator at the U.S. Fire Administration (USFA). She was named to this position in January 2020. As the senior career federal fire official, she is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the USFA.

Eriks Gabliks
Superintendent, National Fire Academy
Eriks Gabliks is the superintendent of the National Fire Academy (NFA). He was named to this position in November 2020. As superintendent, Mr. Gabliks provides leadership for the NFA, which focuses on enhancing the ability of fire and emergency services and allied professionals to deal more effectively with fire and other emergencies.

Richard Patrick
Director, National Fire and EMS Division
Chief Richard W. Patrick (Rick) is director of the National Fire and Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Division for the USFA. Chief Patrick joined the USFA in spring 2018. The National Fire and EMS Division Division leads the USFA's prevention, EMS, public education, strategic communications and response assistance missions.

Vince Hodge
Director, Management, Operations and Support Services
Vince Hodge is the Management, Operations and Support Services director at the National Emergency Training Center. He joined the USFA in September 2022. As the operations director, Vince provides oversight of all campus operations and is the personal adviser to the deputy fire administrator and fire administrator on all matters of general management.
