The National Emergency Response Information System (NERIS) is hosted by the UL Research Institutes’ Fire Safety Research Institute, with oversight by the U.S. Fire Administration (USFA). Both organizations are working together to develop resources that support fire departments with writing incident reports, analysts with reviewing report data, and the public with obtaining clear information about the fire problem in the United States.
