The U.S. Fire Administration’s (USFA’s) National Fire Data Center (NFDC) supports the mission of the USFA by creating resources to help fire departments, researchers and the public understand and address America’s fire challenges. Our goal is to provide information that helps make communities safer.

NFDC uses data from the National Emergency Response Information System (NERIS) and other sources to present up-to-date datasets, statistics, reports and visualizations on key topics.
