Training Costs

There are no tuition fees for on-campus, online and National Fire Academy (NFA)-sponsored off-campus courses. All instruction and course materials are provided at no cost.

On-campus students

The NFA will reimburse eligible on-campus students for the cost of airfare/other ticketed means of transportation or personal/department vehicle mileage costs within our reimbursement guidelines. State weekend students are not eligible for reimbursement.

Online students

Online courses through NFA Online are free.

Off-campus students

Please contact the sponsoring organization for information on training costs that may be associated with your course. Contact information is available in the NFA catalog (search on your course code).
