The Bachelor of Science in Emergency Services at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University is designed to prepare students with both technical competencies and administrative acumen across the full spectrum of emergency service disciplines. The program is accredited by the International Fire service Accreditation Congress (IFSAC). Students choose between two specializations: Aviation Emergency Management (focusing on aircraft accident investigation, airport preparedness and ARFF operations) or Emergency Services (emphasizing leadership, community risk reduction and operational management). Taught by faculty who blend academic expertise with front-line experience, along with extensive research agendas in emergency services and emergency management, the curriculum prepares professionals for leadership advancement and aspiring graduates for competitive roles.
