Documents Required to Access the National Emergency Training Center

Anyone entering the National Emergency Training Center (NETC) campus is required to show photo identification.

Photo identification

You must show valid photo identification to enter the NETC campus. We won't accept an image of your photo identification on a cell phone or a printed copy. Beginning May 2, 2023, photo identification must meet REAL ID Act standards.

Please have your photo identification out and ready for our security officers to view to prevent entry delays. If you are a student from a foreign country, you'll need to show your passport or visa.

Firearms and alcoholic beverages are prohibited. See student rules for more information.

COVID-19 vaccination and testing requirements

Vaccination: The NETC does not require vaccination or other proof of vaccination for contractors, visitors, students and instructors.

Screening testing: The NETC does not require COVID-19 testing regardless of community level or vaccination status.

Masks: You are required to mask when riding the federal shuttle to and from campus. Masks are also required indoors at the NETC when CDC community levels are HIGH. You may choose to mask indoors when CDC community levels are MEDIUM or LOW.
