Campus history
A brief history of the National Emergency Training Center (NETC), home of the National Fire Academy (NFA).
The campus was originally the site of St. Joseph Academy, founded in 1809 by St. Elizabeth Ann Seton.
Building N is listed on the National Register of Historic Buildings.
Buildings
The NETC campus has 23 buildings dedicated to training for NFA and National Disaster and Emergency Management University students.
Monuments
The campus is home to the National Fallen Firefighters Memorial, the To Lift a Nation (9-11) Monument, and the National Civil Defense/Emergency Management Monument.
The National Fallen Firefighters Memorial has stood as the national symbol of honor to America's firefighters since 1981.
